DISASTER DAY: September 15, 16, 17 This three day affair will be held at Western Pines Middle School. Each year has seen a steady rise in Troop enrollment. Some 500 scouts attended the 1997 function while 750 attended the 1998 event. This year's "Disaster Day" will be limited to the first 500 scouts signing up! Over this weekend, scouts can earn a maximum of two merit badges from the following choices: First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, Crime Prevention, Wilderness Survival, Fire Safety, Traffic Safety, or Public Health. Registration Deadline is August 31st!!!!!!!!!!! Fee: $20 per person (fee includes special patch, breakfast, lunch & dinner Saturday; breakfast Sunday; & weekend camping fee. Special T-shirts: $7 each
